I have to admit. It’s been awhile since I’ve actually sat down and rummaged through my writings.
So where have I been?
Well, in the middle of getting the rights back to my book I fell into what I call a “I don’t give a fuck” attitude. I rejected the writing community; online and offline as a whole. I decided to do something that I’ve always loved to do.
I needed a long overdue break.
So I started playing video games. I worked full time at my job. I tossed my unpublished novels to the side and thought “To hell with it all.”
During my break I met the love of my life.
This angelic being forced me back on my path. He took a look at my writing and wondered how stupid could I be to ignore my passion. He told me to straighten up and to start again.
So here I am. In a different state with a different attitude. I’m going through my novel “Macabre” again and this time, I believe, I will try the self publishing route. I went traditional with no success but hopefully I will go traditional again one day.
With the help of the love of my life, I find that anything is possible.
